Olympic Park

Indigo recently installed parasols for one of our most exciting contracts to date: the Olympic Park!

After being contacted by a well-known contractor, we were asked to be the supplier of giant parasols in this prestigious area, which (as you can imagine) is one of the most high-profile locations across the globe right now.

These areas will provide shade for all manner of people, including royalty, A List celebrities and a whole host of VIPs, offering the perfect platform to enjoy an al fresco dining experience, while witnessing the magic of London’s Olympic Games.

Indigo installed five A4 Xtreme Giant Parasols with movable bases in front of an enormous 3,000 seat temporary restaurant spanning three floors. It’s hard to believe this grand structure was only temporary; in light of the Olympics, no expense was spared by creating the best experience possible for visitors from across the globe.

As you may have read in our previous blog, we also provided giant parasols on rooftop locations for the Stratford Westfield Shopping Centre in time for the Games, in addition to both Canary Wharf and then the ultimate location of the Olympic Park itself.

Now the scene has been set for the ultimate viewing locations… It’s up to the athletes to provide the viewing experience. Good luck!
